Oh my goodness, how sad that I have not posted anything recently! Boo on me! Well, I'm back and am going to really try to get my act together with my blog! I don't even know the last thing I wrote...so I will just do a general fill in on my life!
School-
I went back to school on the 29th of July. I realized that the week leading up to going back to school was way worse than actually going back to school. I did not want to go back...however once I was back...it was kind of nice to be in a routine of some sort! The first few weeks were a litttle stressful for me! It's one of my busiest times of the year! New kids, lockers, schedules, numbers to see if we need an extra teacher! This year we have the exact amount of lockers as we do students...so that brought on an extra bit of stress! Now that we are almost a month into it...things have calmed down a bit for me! I still need to go through all of the 6th grade files, but I'm not too worried about that!
Shows-
This year I had a talk with Curt that went something like this
Curt-you are never home
Me-I'm working my rear end off to get money
Curt-We don't need the money that bad
Me- I thought you liked it when I was gone
Curt- I do sometimes, but not every night
So, I decided to not take on so many shows! It's good for my mental health and it's good for Curt and I! I'm not sure how I made it through last year doing 4 shows...yikes! Anyway, so this year I will be choreographing Mulan Jr. at ABMS! Fiddler on the Roof at Gardner High School! In November I will be choreographing Little Women at Gardner as well! Then in the winter I will be choreographing Cinderella for CYT and Aladdin Jr. at BVMS! Plus, if I can get my act together I will be writing the Christmas Play at my church! I have the main stuff down...I just need to fill in a few lines here and there! It will still be a busy year but not too much overlapping!
Mulan Jr.- August- October
Fiddler- September-November
Christmas Play- October-December (Sunday's and maybe Wednesday's)
Little Women- November-December
Cinderella- November-February
Aladdin Jr- January-March
Every show and activity will be done by the beginning of March! This way the last month before my wedding will be free of all extra stuff except for school and wedding planning!
Wedding-
The planning is going pretty well! We have most of the big stuff done! Bride, Groom, wedding party, location of the ceremony, location of the reception, Photographer, Videographer, Photobooth, food for the wedding, food for the reception, DJ, Lighting, invitations...and transportation to the reception from the wedding!
The things we have left to do...centerpieces. We have 1/3 of them, know about the another 1/3 of them and then the 3rd part is still up in the air. I have an idea for table numbers, but have not tried it out yet. Flowers...I don't really like...so we are stalling on that! The location on the Rehearsal dinner is a bit up in the air, but it's starting to make it's way down. So much to do and so much time to do it! Yahoo!!!
Ford-
I'm still working at Ford, but my days are numbered! I believe I'm down to 29 more weeks!
Jamberry-
My newest venture of selling nails is up and running! I really wanted to hit a few fast starts...but it looks like the 2nd one is not going to make it! I need to be okay with where I am in the business! Jamberry says "It's a marathon and not a sprint". But man do I have a sprinting mentality! So, I'm trying to slow it down...go with the flow! My goal is long term...grow the business, so that when I have kids I can maybe stay home and still make money! That is the goal! But it's really fun and I love having fun nails! I'm still learning and getting better at hosting parties...but it's totally a work in progress! Plus the month of August was nuts! Yikes! Marathon...marathon...marathon! Ha ha ha!
I guess that is all for now, I will write more I promise! Happy Tuesday to you all!
Life, family, and crafts! I can't say it's going to be amazing...but it should be fun! So, we will just see what comes out of this blog!

256 More days...
So, I'm back!!! Where have I been? I'm been on summer vacation! It was way more fun to not do anything over the summer (except work a lot) than it would have been to write! No offense...if any of you are wondering where I have been!
Oh well, I am not going to write a whole lot...since I have a lot of work to do. It's my first day back at school in about 3 weeks...so I have got to get caught up on stuff and really want to have a fresh slate (or at least some of one...by tomorrow)!
I did want to say one thing...

I did want to say one thing...
256 more days until my wedding!!!
How exciting is that? Which means there is less days than that until a lot of fun stuff happens! ABMS show, Halloween, Gardner High's show, Thanksgiving, the Christmas Play (if I can actually write it), the White Christmas Party, Megan and Mishi coming into town, Christmas, New Years, Bachelorette Party, Bridal Showers, Valentines Day, my birthday, Curt's Birthday, my last day of Ford, and any other wedding stuff I have forgotten! Holy cow this year is going to fly by...and it's going to rock my face off!
But because I will be so busy...there are things that we have to get done! There should be a long list of things for me to do! Oh my goodness...I need a list!
Stop. Just for a minute. I can't believe this journey will be 2,351 days long...and I have lived and loved 2,095 of them! That is just nuts!
So for right now, I will just revel in these numbers and get my school work done! Then later on this week...or maybe next I will make my wedding time lists! Until then, peace out!

I'm still here...in case you actually read this!
Holy Moly, it's been a long time! I have been going back and forth between Ford, StageworX, and ABMS! Plus doing family stuff, wedding stuff, and just relaxing stuff in between! Needless to say, I have been a bit busy! But I'm here, and will try to be better to make sure I write as much as I can!
Updates on my life:
Theatre Camp- StageworX started last week! It's as amazing as it was last year! I love hanging with my friends, those crazy aged kids, and working on theatre! I think that is one of the most amazing things about our camp. This is the third year we have all been together as the leaders of this age group and I think you can tell! Really it's all the staff! I love them all! We have talked about switching it up for next year and one thing that was said was "We still want to be together as a staff!" And I mean the whole staff said that! It wasn't just our group! And you really don't get that at other places! We will be performing Hello Dolly on July 16 and 17th at Avila University! If anyone is reading this, please come! It is usually a really great show!
Wedding-
So, last week I started cleaning these centerpieces that Sarah found at the Giant Sale (the huge garage sale the my church holds twice a year). They are kind of goofy looking, but I'm hoping with a good clean, some spray paint, and possibly some glitter...they will really start to be amazing! I would like to finish cleaning them this Friday and possibly paint them on Saturday/Sunday! I also found a tree limb this morning while walking Chandler! I thought it looked like the right height for a centerpiece! I might try to paint and glitter it this weekend or next as well! I put it on the back porch...ha ha ha!
Willy Wonka-
Willy Wonka opens next weekend! It should be a good show! It's been a fun process! I have enjoyed working with adults as well as kids! I'm excited to see them in front of an audience! It's been a bit weird not really working with any of the other staff, but they were just working with my schedule! It will be nice when it's over...to have another night free! But I will miss the people!
Jamberry-
This past Thursday I went to a nail party! They are vinyl nails that stick on and stay for 1-2 weeks! And they are a great price...since I would normally pay $40 for a manicure! So, I decided to sell them! I love the idea...yet it also makes me so nervous! I am not sure if I can do it! But my goal is to be able to stop working at Ford a little earlier than March! My other reason for this is to have some extra income so that hopefully I will get to stay home with my future kids! So, if you are interested let me know! Jump on this bandwagon! I am waiting to get my stuff from the company and then I will be off and running! The good news is that I believe there will be a lot of business...hopefully! Fingers crossed!
Life in general-
In less than a week I will be skydiving from an airplane! I am way more nervous about this than other people...and it was kind of my idea! I just want it to be over with! I'm excited and yet I tend to think worse case scenario...which is death! So, that is not good! Ha ha ha! Anyway, this morning after dreaming about skydiving, I woke with a headache! I woke up 15 min before my alarm and didn't want to get up to take some meds. So, then my headache got worse and started to make me feel sick! Darn those 15 min! Anyway, I got up to go to work, took some meds, and got ready! I decided that I should get some starbucks to give me another boost of caffeine! And let me tell you, it's been amazing! A frappuccino in the morning is such a dream! Pretty soon I will be headed to camp to entertain 53 6-9th graders...so I have to be ready to go! And I think I will be!
Okay, I'm out for now! Have a wonderful day folks and chat later!

Wedding Updates
Darn it, why am I having such a hard time writing? Probably because I don't have much to say right now! I'm just a busy bee at school working away! Here is the exciting thing that happened today:
So, I booked a DJ & Lighting from the same people! It was a pretty great deal! The more things you booked from them, the cheaper things were! Yahoo! So, in March I got a DJ for $500 (I think) and uplights for $295.
Today I got an email that said, since you booked a DJ with us, if you book lighting as well you can get it for only $195 instead of the $295. So, I sent an email, then thought...just call! So, I called and spoke with the same guy I spoke with before and said...I booked my stuff in March. But now there is a lighting deal. Can I get that deal? The answer was Yes!!! I was prepared for a "No" and had an argument ready to go, but none was needed! So, I just saved $100, just like that!
I started to make my "To-Do" list for my wedding! It was starting to get really long (which was too much for me to handle at the moment) so I changed it to be my "To-Do" list for wedding DIY stuff. Here is what I have thus far:
Invites
Clean Centerpieces
Paint Centerpieces
Glitter Centerpieces (maybe)
Make fabric flower
Make bouquets
Table Numbers
Wedding Signs
Things to think about in the future:
Video Montage for rehearsal dinner
rehearsal dinner packets
wedding program
Flower Girl Dress
Escort Cards
Ahhh!!!!!!! So, the first list are things I would like to work on this summer. The second list are things that I can work on later...because we don't have the stuff yet. LIke the Escort cards and Abby's dress- what if she grows? Ha ha ha!
My schedule is filling up quite nicely this fall and winter already. So, I need to do stuff now. What is my fall schedule you ask?
ABMS- Full time
ABMS Musical- August-October
Gardner High Musical- September-November
Desoto High School- September-November (this is not for sure)
Olathe Ford- Part Time
Church Christmas Program-November-December
Christmas
CYT Winter Show- November-February
BVMS Musical- January-March
I'm sorry...what? This is just nuts! However, I will hopefully make a lot of money before the wedding. Which will hopefully go to savings! So, that is what I'm thinking about when I start becoming "Schedule Claustrophobic". Ha ha ha! The other good thing is that the last show ends the first week of March! So, I will have the last month before the wedding off! I will have spring break to work at Ford and to do wedding stuff! So, yahoo!
Okay, that is all for today! I need to get on this list and really rock out this summer with wedding stuff!

Oh my...I have things to do!
So, I was so excited to meet with the Caterer's tonight. Mainly because I just want the big stuff to be done! However the gal we were supposed to meet with is out sick. So, I had to reschedule for next week. It's a little buggy...but only because I scheduled it last week...and now it's next week. But oh well! So, next Thursday will be the day we go to the caterer!
Let's see what else is new...
The drama teacher at BVMS is going to the high school. I was a bit sad, because he is great to work with and that is a great paying gig! The good news is that today the new drama contacted me about choreographing for them! Yahoo!!!
Today, I went to the Dr. to talk about having mole removed! It's very ugly and I have hated it for a long time! She said, even though there are some medical concerns...she would suggest removal anyway due to it's size! Yahoo! So, tomorrow I will be having it removed! I'm very excited for this as well! She said it will take 6-9 months for the redness to go away! It's a good thing I'm doing it now...less than 11 months from the wedding!
I have been working on my invitations and I think I have them just right! I looked and looked and really felt overwhelmed at all of the options. Plus nothing stuck out to me! Then I saw one that I liked, but I didn't like the color's. Maybe they have other options. They did...but not in the right colors! So, I took the idea from that design and made it my own! Now, I have to see if Kinko's will print it...or if it would be cheaper to have it printed online. Or if some of these business' can print them for cheaper! Next step on that! Yahoo!
Things that are left on the wedding list:
Caterer- next week
Invites- for the most part done
Flowers- working on those this summer
Centerpieces- work on those this summer
Boutonnieres- work on this summer
Final guest list- yikes
Okay, I'm going to stop my list...or it's going to get crazy long! Those are some major things that we need to do...yikes!
I keep saying working on things this summer because here is what my schedule will look like:
Summer-
Willy Wonka- Gardner Community Theatre
Hello Dolly- StageworX
Fall
August- October- ABMS School Musical
September-November- Gardner High School Musical
September-November- DeSoto High School Musical- maybe
October-December- Kids Christmas Program at church
November- February- CTY's Winter Musical
January-March- Blue Valley Middle School's Musical
August-May- Aubry Bend Middle School
August- March- Olathe Ford LINCOLN
So, to say I will be busy this next school year is laughable! Which is why a lot of things are falling to the summer for me to work on them! I know that ABMS and Gardner shows should be less dance. I know that CYT's show should be less dance as well. I'm not sure about DeSoto or BVMS! The bottom line is that it's money! And I'm happy about that! I'm ready for the break that will change things up a bit! AKA Summer! Bring it on!

If you don't want to hear about my bad dream...don't read this! Ha ha ha
Holy smokes...my days have been really busy! I have a lot of choreographing to do...so I have not had a lot of down time! Then there is the normal job stuff that I have to do as well! It's just been weird!
I dream a lot! I would say just about every night I dream! I dream weird dreams with a lot of details! I dream in color...and most of my dreams are bad dreams. I don't talk about my dreams a lot...I mean who wants to hear about bad dreams? Um...no one! But that is how it is! There are also some people in my family who don't want to hear about dreams. Can you blame them? I was in a room then all of a sudden I was in the ocean...I mean come on? Really? The Ocean? There have been times when I don't believe people's dreams! Especially if they are bad story tellers...ha ha ha! But that is another post!
I'm writing today, because last night I had a dream that I was kidnapped! I can't get away from the feeling it gave me. This one had so many details...it freaked me out. Here are some of the highlights...ha ha ha:
1. I was kidnapped from a store during the day.
2. I did try to fight it...so I was proud of that!
2.5 I also remember getting mad at someone in the store who did not help as I was being mistreated! They must not have watched the bullying video's!
3. Every time I tried to text someone that I had been kidnapped...I couldn't get the phone or the buttons to work. That was so frustrating.
4. There was one main kidnapper and 3 not so main kidnappers.
5. They took all of my money...like everything in my checking!
6. I somehow just knew that if I tried to run or get help they would hurt the people I love!
7. While kidnapped we went out to eat. I saw my family- including all of my sisters and my fiance there! I was not able to tell my fiance that I had been kidnapped. But I was able to tell my sisters! They gave me money. I'm not sure what it would have been for...but very weird!
8. At one point I was taken into a room and the girls said It's lunch time and brought out a tray of mints. I remember being devastated that it was just mints! I was hungry I guess! Ha ha ha- but only mints for lunch is torture...at least for me!
9. I know what my kidnapper looks like. Are they a real person? Who knows? But if I see them...it's going to freak me out!
10. My kidnapper was "charming". I had the feeling if I did try to get help, that no one would believe me because of his "charm"!
So, I woke up with an awful feeling! The dream itself had a feeling to it as well. One that I can only describe as a "taste". So, when I closed my eyes, I had the same feeling. And throughout the day I will get a wave of that same feeling! Which is why I decided to write about it! It's just a weird feeling! It was a weird dream...and it took me a while to get out of that. I would start to fall back asleep and then be back in the dream...so I would wake up...and then close my eyes again and be back! So buggy!
Besides my crazy dreams, not much else is going on in my life! Just a lot of work...work...and more work! Oh well, post more later!

A freak out moment!
So, today they updated our computer system. The internet was moving really really slowly! So, I restarted my computer and started opening my normal tabs. I went to open gmail and up popped a really weird message. This website is not recommended! There was a brief moment of panic! What was I going to do if I could not open my gmail! I mean that is where all of the family emails happen! Where my friend emails occur! Where I can talk with my sister/fiance/friend! I can get advice or give advice! It's the 2 site I open, the first being my work website! It's a must!
So, I typed it in again! The message was the same! Some real panic is happening now! Inner dialog:
Oh my goodness, what will I do? How can they do this? That would be so dumb to take away gmail! I guess I can check my phone for eamils...but I can't gchat! This is terrible! If they took away gmail, they would have to of taken away other things as well! Like Pinterest! WHat if they took pinterest away! They tried that once and it was horrible! Let's click on the button that says "take me to the website anyway (not recomended" and see if they took away pinterest! Yahoo, pinterest you area still here! And now gmail is back! Crisis adverted! Life is good again! First world problems!
It's so funny how things are just always there so to not have them there is crazy! Once at a STAMP event we made it a phone free zone. It was so weird. None of us are super crazy, but we would catch ourselves saying things like "Look this up" or "google that". We did talk more...and no one played dumb things! Ha ha ha! My uncle said he made Wednesday's phone free and his son found out he could play the piano (no lessons...yes we kind of hate how talented he is...but if anyone outside the family says anything like that...we will hurt you!)
I love technology and I hate it! Oh well, I love my first world problems! I know I should be more socially aware...but I can't handle that! I can hardly handle the Sara McGlophlin (wow, look at that spelling...sound it out folks) commercials! In the arms of an angel...with little puppy dog faces all abused! I might start crying right now! Or reading about girls being sold into sex slavery! It literally hurts my heart! I mean, I started crying when my sister was telling me about a video she watched on how they killed baby cows for Veel! I mean...come on! Okay folks, I'm getting sad!
So, for the moment, my world is okay! And for the moment, I will enjoy being okay!
