Wedding Updates

Darn it, why am I having such a hard time writing?  Probably because I don't have much to say right now!  I'm just a busy bee at school working away!  Here is the exciting thing that happened today:

So, I booked a DJ & Lighting from the same people!  It was a pretty great deal!  The more things you booked from them, the cheaper things were!  Yahoo!  So, in March I got a DJ for $500 (I think) and uplights for $295.

Today I got an email that said, since you booked a DJ with us, if you book lighting as well you can get it for only $195 instead of the $295.  So, I sent an email, then thought...just call!  So, I called and spoke with the same guy I spoke with before and said...I booked my stuff in March.  But now there is a lighting deal.  Can I get that deal?  The answer was Yes!!!  I was prepared for a "No" and had an argument ready to go, but none was needed!  So, I just saved $100, just like that!

I started to make my "To-Do" list for my wedding!  It was starting to get really long (which was too much for me to handle at the moment) so I changed it to be my "To-Do" list for wedding DIY stuff.  Here is what I have thus far:

Clean Centerpieces
Paint Centerpieces
Glitter Centerpieces (maybe)
Make fabric flower
Make bouquets
Table Numbers
Wedding Signs

Things to think about in the future:
Video Montage for rehearsal dinner
rehearsal dinner packets
wedding program
Flower Girl Dress
Escort Cards

Ahhh!!!!!!!  So, the first list are things I would like to work on this summer.  The second list are things that I can work on later...because we don't have the stuff yet.  LIke the Escort cards and Abby's dress- what if she grows?  Ha ha ha!

My schedule is filling up quite nicely this fall and winter already.  So, I need to do stuff now.  What is my fall schedule you ask?
ABMS- Full time
ABMS Musical- August-October
Gardner High Musical- September-November
Desoto High School- September-November (this is not for sure)
Olathe Ford- Part Time
Church Christmas Program-November-December
Christmas
CYT Winter Show- November-February
BVMS Musical- January-March

I'm sorry...what?  This is just nuts!  However, I will hopefully make a lot of money before the wedding.  Which will hopefully go to savings!  So, that is what I'm thinking about when I start becoming "Schedule Claustrophobic".  Ha ha ha!  The other good thing is that the last show ends the first week of March!  So, I will have the last month before the wedding off!  I will have spring break to work at Ford and to do wedding stuff!  So, yahoo!

Okay, that is all for today!  I need to get on this list and really rock out this summer with wedding stuff!
